I have a background in dance, aerobics, personal training, Pilates, and yoga. I am certified through Yoga Alliance, Stott Mat Pilates trained, and AFAA personal trainer and group fitness certified. I have been in the fitness industry since 1995, and have been teaching yoga since 1997. Yoga, Pilates, and overall fitness have been the driving force and passion in my life.
I realized that by balancing my body through yoga, I was better able to achieve the right balance in my life, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. My outlook on life was more positive, became simpler and less stressful. My overall health and relationships improved, and I stressed the little things less and less. I found that when life seems to pull me in many directions, this reminds me of the simplicity of life. Just take a few deep breaths and cherish living in the moment.
It has always been my passion to share my love of fitness with others, and opening my own studio is a dream realized in achieving this personal and professional goal. Thank you for coming and sharing this special moment with me!

Since I was a young puppy, I have always been a natural yoga enthusiast. Through my years, I have practiced and perfected many yoga poses. I have been told that I display a wonderfully natural downdog and updog. My long legs and big ears help me with my balance postures and flexibility. I am a small dog, weighing only 3 pounds, so I feel more secure when I’m with others. I really enjoy coming to the studio with my mommy Carol. I sincerely believe in the yoga saying, “namaste”. I always try to appreciate and respect myself and those around me. That’s why I enjoy sniffing and greeting students when they arrive. I also believe silence is a virtue. So, I quietly and gladly go into my doggy cage during each class. I have made so many good friends at Yoga Core Fit and I look forward to meeting many more. I’m looking forward to sniffing and greeting you soon.

I am passionate about how yoga can affect change throughout the body and mind. I have seen its benefits firsthand in my own life, which inspired me to complete a 200-hour yoga certification in Power Flow, an additional certification in Unata-inspired Aerial Yoga, and become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. Using playful elements, upbeat music, and a good sense of humor, I enjoy creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere to explore and recall the natural freedom we experienced in ourselves as a child. I enjoy the combination of the strengthening/conditioning, and stretching/restorative physical nature of yoga poses. Taking into consideration personal fitness levels, injuries, or problem areas and goals, my simple back-to-basics approach aims to provide subtle adjustments and encouragement to help you create a solid (and playful) foundation for your yoga practice.

I grew up in Colorado where my love for fitness and a healthy lifestyle began. I started teaching yoga in 1999 after the birth of my second son in order to balance my fitness routines, which included teaching cycling, aerobics, and H20 classes. I am committed to instructing yoga with an emphasis on the expression of truth, love, and relief. I believe yoga harmonizes you, forcing you to be in the present moment with peace of mind, uncovering the ultimate source of light within you that’s always been there! As a wife and mother of three, (2 boys and a girl) I know that balance is a moving target and one must constantly be evolving. “If you’re not evolving you’re decaying” I continue to explore many yoga styles and practices to ensure creativity and growth in my teaching. In 2015, after teaching yoga for 13yrs, I went back for a 200Hr RYT teacher training to become a certified Wanderlust teacher. I recently finished a 9 month Living Ayurveda course with Kate Stillman at Yoga Healer; and can’t wait to share the science of life with my students, friends, and family on and off the mat. Outside of the studio I love running, hiking, cryotherapy, and green drinks!

I’m a wife and mom of two sweet boys. A SoCal native, but I LOVE living here near The Bay!
I’ve had the pleasure of teaching group fitness since 2012. I so much love the healing community and opportunity for growth that comes when friends sweat together. Though I’ve been active since childhood (through sports, performing arts and cheerleading), my group fitness journey began when my sister invited me to a cardio kickboxing class. I was mesmerized by the instructor and the participants. The energy! The fun! The opportunity to get better at each move and combination! Life called, but finally, one Master’s Degree, mom life, and two military moves later, I went after my certification to become a fitness instructor. Since then, I’ve taught various formats and have met some amazing fitness family. I initially began teaching Pilates to get a good stretch and to strengthen my core. Over time, I’ve learned that Pilates offers so much more! Toning, increased flexibility, injury prevention, stress relief, and the fusion of mind and body. Come join me for Ballet Barre Pilates! It’s a fun fusion of Barre and principles of traditional Mat Pilates. My goal is that each member gets sweaty and has some fun. Leaving feeling accomplished and refreshed.

I have spent over 5 years supporting people in actualizing their fitness goals and achieving them, not only physically but mentally as well. I first gained interest in Pilates in high school when I stumbled upon a Winsor Pilates video tape. It ignited a spark and from that point on; and that spark turned in to a fire. Through many years of being a wife and a mother, I found myself facing some serious health issues of my own. That became my motivation to become the best version of myself. I strive to incorporate that type of support, inspiration, and enthusiasm into my classes and my daily life. Fitness is a journey, and I love helping people find the spark that lit my fire, so they can achieve more than they thought was possible. I look forward to sharing my passion for health and happiness with you.

My passion for fitness started just after high school. I fell in love with group exercise classes right away and was always the front row student. I became fast friends with the instructor at the time and she convinced me to become group fitness certified. That was over 25 years ago. To this very day, I am still very passionate and fortunate to have such a great opportunity to share fitness with members, family and friends. I have devoted my livelihood to motivating and educating members to live happier and healthier lives; and feel so very blessed to be able to call this the best job ever. I am constantly seeking new information and continuing my education to bring to all. I enjoy keeping programs challenging and fun at the same time. Setting both short and long-term goals helps members to make continuous progress. My area of specialty is Pilates. I enjoy all formats including Mat, Barre and Reformer Training. I also enjoy private and small group training with emphasis on core, posture, flexibility and balance for a full body workout. As a certified personal trainer, I specialize in injury prevention and functional training, guiding a variety of clients, novice to elite and youth to aging, to obtain their own personal goals through a safe effective workout. I enjoy helping clients learn to love exercise and obtain the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle. Keep Moving!

After having my first child I found a passion for teaching Moms, and helping them stay healthy with their little ones. Meet Jen
Hello! I am a Midwest native, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and have lived in Vacaville since 2004. My full-time job is at a bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing plant here in town. I love cooking & baking, photography, going on nature adventures, and traveling with my husband and pup.
I spent a lot of my early adult life playing intensive sports and lifting weights. After experiencing an ACL tear and having replacement surgery, I found it impossible to get back in my normal routine. Shortly after recovering in late 2015, I took my first barre class in Nashville while visiting my sister and immediately fell in love with the practice. It was hard for me to find the same motivation as before my injury, but ballet barre classes gave me a new confidence. I came home, began my search for a studio the next day, and discovered Yoga Core Fit. The community and friendships quickly fell into place and my strength increased!
In November 2015 I took my first yoga class with Christina, a “Glow and Flow” workshop, and felt so powerful afterwards! I began coming to the studio and taking classes on a daily basis, sometimes more than one class a day. I found that increasing my fitness and continually challenging myself through barre and yoga both empowered and calmed my mind. Yoga brought me not only increased flexibility and fitness, but also self-reflection & self-awareness. It continues to teach me kindness and compassion both on and off the mat. I love introducing my found passion to colleagues and friends, showing them that it is SO much more than stretching.
I find joy in genuinely connecting with others and watching students achieve their goals. I am so lucky to be a part of Yoga Core Fit and would be honored for you to share your practice with me!

Prior to yoga, I often found myself bouncing from one workout to the next. From Zumba, running, to powerlifting, I feel like I have tried it all! Yoga was the first one to stick. As I continued to explore the time and space on my yoga mat, I learned that along with the physical challenge, my practice started to morph into a mental and often times emotional exploration. For once in my life, I finally felt moments of peace!
The confidence, strength, and courage I have learned from my yoga practice is exactly why I choose to teach. No matter your reason to practice yoga, I am here to help guide you through the physical and spiritual flow that is yoga. I truly believe a yoga practice is for everyone and everybody regardless of background, body type, flexibility and fitness level.

I’m an easy-going mom, wife, and friend who enjoys outdoor adventures like camping, hiking, biking, beach days, and exploring new places. Yoga found me at the age of 18 when I struggled with anxiety and depression. I used yoga as a tool to breathe through the hard times and found that as I practiced, the anxiety and depression faded. Yoga gave me the space to breathe and reconnect with my heart.
As my yoga practice became deeper and more consist, I got my 200-hour Yoga Teaching Training certification. I made the decision to start sharing this beautiful practice. I met in parks for yoga play dates which eventually led me to teaching yoga classes in studios. I’m excited to be a part of the Yoga Core Fit community. In my classes, I try to create an atmosphere that is fun, easy-going, and judgement-free, warm, and inviting. You will often hear me reminding everyone, “A flower does not compete with the flower next to it … it just blooms.”

When found Yoga Core Fit, after my first few weeks of taking classes, I knew this was a special place! The instruction is excellent and the sense of community is amazing – it’s like a family.
As a yoga student, I am grateful to have learned from all of the teachers here at the studio. Practicing yoga has helped me in many ways. It gives me time to find space for self-awareness and self-acceptance. I love that being on my yoga mat always provides more learning. Yoga helps me stay balanced – in my body and mind.
Inspired by all of the teachers at YCF, I began to think that I would love to be able to help others learn how beneficial a yoga practice can be. (I was the kid that would come home from ballet lessons and teach my neighborhood friends…lol.) So, when Christina Rairdan and Tina Clay announced that they would have their Bend Yoga Teacher Training, I was fortunate to be able to enroll and learn from these inspiring teachers.
As a teacher, I hope to create a space for self-discovery where students can uncover their own potential and feel empowered by all of the benefits that a yoga practice brings.
