Meet Carol
I have a background in dance, aerobics, personal training, Pilates, and yoga. I am certified through Yoga Alliance, Stott Mat Pilates trained, and AFAA personal trainer and group fitness certified. I have been in the fitness industry since 1995, and have been teaching yoga since 1997. Yoga, Pilates, and overall fitness have been the driving force and passion in my life.

I realized that by balancing my body through yoga, I was better able to achieve the right balance in my life, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. My outlook on life was more positive, became simpler and less stressful. My overall health and relationships improved, and I stressed the little things less and less. I found that when life seems to pull me in many directions, this reminds me of the simplicity of life. Just take a few deep breaths and cherish living in the moment.

It has always been my passion to share my love of fitness with others, and opening my own studio is a dream realized in achieving this personal and professional goal. Thank you for coming and sharing this special moment with me!

Yogi

Meet Yogi
Since I was a young puppy, I have always been a natural yoga enthusiast. Through my years, I have practiced and perfected many yoga poses. I have been told that I display a wonderfully natural downdog and updog. My long legs and big ears help me with my balance postures and flexibility. I am a small dog, weighing only 3 pounds, so I feel more secure when I’m with others. I really enjoy coming to the studio with my mommy Carol. I sincerely believe in the yoga saying, “namaste”. I always try to appreciate and respect myself and those around me. That’s why I enjoy sniffing and greeting students when they arrive. I also believe silence is a virtue. So, I quietly and gladly go into my doggy cage during each class. I have made so many good friends at Yoga Core Fit and I look forward to meeting many more. I’m looking forward to sniffing and greeting you soon.

Tina

Meet Tina
Namaste! I am honored to have the opportunity to share my love for yoga with you. After completing my college education, I was on a different career path. But then yoga came into my life like an unexpected gift. What began as a gentle regular practice has grown into a strong vibrant force that I rely on daily for strength, comfort and guidance. I credit my yoga practice for helping me cope with the depression I was experiencing. Turning my attention inward and learning how to connect with my breath, gave me the ability to find some freedom in (and from) my mind. I realized that I could choose my responses to situations. I was able to create some space between the triggers that were occurring outside and my internal experience or perceptions of them.Today, yoga helps me create and maintain balance in my life. The postures certainly help keep my body healthy but off my mat, yoga helps me stay grounded to the inner landscape of my being. The flexibility that comes from the physical practice includes the mind. I am more open to ideas, criticisms, and life in general. The practice reminds me daily that life is unfolding in every minute and that I am at my best when I am fully present in that moment.

Meet Shannon
I have always been involved in dance and gymnastics, with much appreciation for body movement. I have enjoyed teaching movement classes since 1996. I discovered my love of yoga in 1999 by attending classes and workshops. Throughout the years, I have gained much inspiration from influential yoga masters including: Shannon Wells, Shiva Rae, Stephanie Adams, and Scott Blossom. I discovered prenatal yoga and mommy and me yoga when I became a mom myself. It has greatly helped me with my own children. I try to be very mindful of how yoga helps lower back issues. This is because I have back issues myself. I sincerely believe in modifying poses to allow everyone to feel a sense of success. I really love the feeling of linking the breath with the movement. Most importantly, I strive to bring a warm and friendly teaching style to my classes.

Meet Elizabeth
Starting dance at the tender age of two and half, my love for movement developed early. I am classically trained in ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary dance. My love for dance continued throughout the years as I studied dance at UCSB; and stayed involved in the dance industry in Los Angeles.

A busy and hectic schedule lead me to taking a few yoga classes at a friend’s urging. I struggled with yoga at first, sitting still at that time was a challenge for me. But, I began to take classes all over Los Angeles and realized I could make yoga my own. Yoga had me hooked. I wanted to learn more about this ancient practice so I completed my yoga certification at Yoganette yoga studio.

I love yoga. My journey in the fitness world was just starting as I also completed my Xtend Barre certification, along with Mat Pilates. Movement is the best and healthiest cure to most of life’s ailments, so come join for me for some healing fun!

Lorianna Aguilar

Meet Lorianna
I am passionate about how yoga can affect change throughout the body and mind. I have seen its benefits firsthand in my own life, which inspired me to complete a 200-hour yoga certification in Power Flow, an additional certification in Unata-inspired Aerial Yoga, and become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. Using playful elements, upbeat music, and a good sense of humor, I enjoy creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere to explore and recall the natural freedom we experienced in ourselves as a child. I enjoy the combination of the strengthening/conditioning, and stretching/restorative physical nature of yoga poses. Taking into consideration personal fitness levels, injuries, or problem areas and goals, my simple back-to-basics approach aims to provide subtle adjustments and encouragement to help you create a solid (and playful) foundation for your yoga practice.

  • CPR certified
  • Yoga Alliance Approved 200 Hour Power Yoga Certification

Kelly Inabnett

Meet Kelly
I took my first yoga class as a clumsy 13 year old. I fell in love with how yoga increased my flexibility and made me feel graceful. After committing to a regular practice, I found that yoga kept my stress levels down while increasing my self-awareness and confidence. After experiencing these benefits I decided to pursue a 200-hour certification.

I have worked with high-level athletes as well as individuals of all ages in a rehabilitative setting. I was a coxswain for the men’s rowing team at UC Davis; and currently work at a physical therapy office in Vacaville. I believe working to balance the body helps prevent injuries. While teaching yoga, I like to combine creative sequencing with an air of playfulness in an accepting environment. I hope to help my students feel empowered and comfortable while encouraging them explore their bodies and minds through yoga.

I have a big heart when it comes to anything with four legs and I love that Yogacorefit shares that ideal and gives back to the animal community by encouraging donations to the local SPCA Haven for Animals and Yogacorefit’s dog, Yogi being at the studio. I look forward to seeing you in class!

Credentials:

  • Certified Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance (200 hours)
  • B.A. Human Development, University of California, Davis
  • B.S. Psychology, University of California, Davis
  • CPR/AED Certified

Cynthia Image

Meet Cynthia
I was introduced to yoga many years ago when a friend asked me to do a yoga workout video with her. My curiosity was sparked. Several months later I moved to a new city and was curious about yoga despite that video experience. I opted to check out a traditional yoga studio and take a few classes to see what it was all about. Let me just say that after one class I was hooked. It’s almost like I found what was missing in my life. What I love the most about yoga is it’s about learning about your body and working with it as things ebb and flow from day to day. Yoga has endless benefits and to me the biggest ones are: flexibility, strength, and spirituality. I can’t leave out the sense of community when practicing with other yogis. Yoga keeps me centered and calm with all the stressors of daily life. What I love the most is that every time I come to the mat whether that be the actual mat or out in nature is that yoga is truly about playtime. It’s never serious but just play; particularly when playing with the fun arm balances and inversions that I’ve grown to adore! I’ve been practicing since 2011 and many yogis have partaken in my journey on the mat. I’m ever grateful for every single one of them! I hope to be a part of your journey on the mat wherever it may lead.

Megan Kramer

Meet Megan
I grew up in Colorado where my love for fitness and a healthy lifestyle began. I started teaching yoga in 1999 after the birth of my second son in order to balance my fitness routines, which included teaching cycling, aerobics, and H20 classes. I am committed to instructing yoga with an emphasis on the expression of truth, love, and relief. I believe yoga harmonizes you, forcing you to be in the present moment with peace of mind, uncovering the ultimate source of light within you that’s always been there! As a wife and mother of three, (2 boys and a girl) I know that balance is a moving target and one must constantly be evolving. “If you’re not evolving you’re decaying” I continue to explore many yoga styles and practices to ensure creativity and growth in my teaching. In 2015, after teaching yoga for 13yrs, I went back for a 200Hr RYT teacher training to become a certified Wanderlust teacher. I recently finished a 9 month Living Ayurveda course with Kate Stillman at Yoga Healer; and can’t wait to share the science of life with my students, friends, and family on and off the mat. Outside of the studio I love running, hiking, cryotherapy, and green drinks!

Satara Brown

Meet SaTara
I’m a wife and mom of two sweet boys. A SoCal native, but I LOVE living here near The Bay!
I’ve had the pleasure of teaching group fitness since 2012. I so much love the healing community and opportunity for growth that comes when friends sweat together. Though I’ve been active since childhood (through sports, performing arts and cheerleading), my group fitness journey began when my sister invited me to a cardio kickboxing class. I was mesmerized by the instructor and the participants. The energy! The fun! The opportunity to get better at each move and combination! Life called, but finally, one Master’s Degree, mom life, and two military moves later, I went after my certification to become a fitness instructor. Since then, I’ve taught various formats and have met some amazing fitness family. I initially began teaching Pilates to get a good stretch and to strengthen my core. Over time, I’ve learned that Pilates offers so much more! Toning, increased flexibility, injury prevention, stress relief, and the fusion of mind and body. Come join me for Ballet Barre Pilates! It’s a fun fusion of Barre and principles of traditional Mat Pilates. My goal is that each member gets sweaty and has some fun. Leaving feeling accomplished and refreshed.

Stephanie Workman

Meet Stephanie
I have spent over 5 years supporting people in actualizing their fitness goals and achieving them, not only physically but mentally as well. I first gained interest in Pilates in high school when I stumbled upon a Winsor Pilates video tape. It ignited a spark and from that point on; and that spark turned in to a fire. Through many years of being a wife and a mother, I found myself facing some serious health issues of my own. That became my motivation to become the best version of myself. I strive to incorporate that type of support, inspiration, and enthusiasm into my classes and my daily life. Fitness is a journey, and I love helping people find the spark that lit my fire, so they can achieve more than they thought was possible. I look forward to sharing my passion for health and happiness with you.

Meet Maddy
My passion for fitness started just after high school. I fell in love with group exercise classes right away and was always the front row student. I became fast friends with the instructor at the time and she convinced me to become group fitness certified. That was over 25 years ago. To this very day, I am still very passionate and fortunate to have such a great opportunity to share fitness with members, family and friends. I have devoted my livelihood to motivating and educating members to live happier and healthier lives; and feel so very blessed to be able to call this the best job ever. I am constantly seeking new information and continuing my education to bring to all. I enjoy keeping programs challenging and fun at the same time. Setting both short and long-term goals helps members to make continuous progress. My area of specialty is Pilates. I enjoy all formats including Mat, Barre and Reformer Training. Christina Rairdan

Meet Christina
I have been a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor since 1992. I have taught a variety of classes in Washington DC, Virginia, Washington State and California. I am enjoy teaching Yoga, Mat Pilates, and Reformer Pilates the most. I am constantly pursuing additional training to enhance my expertise.

My yoga journey began with a simple New Year’s resolution back in 1998. After years of teaching fitness classes, I realized my body is a temple and it was time to treat it with respect and kindness. I quickly realized that through my yoga practice I found balance both physically and spiritually in my life. From this process of self-acceptance and spiritual growth grew a desire to share yoga with others, and I pursed my yoga certification.

With over 200 hours of intensive yoga training, I and have been greatly inspired by Seane Corne, Baron Baptiste, Janet Stone, and Shiva Rea. When not instructing, I gladly embrace the role of a student realizing that there is always much to be learned from others. Although experienced in many styles of yoga, my passion is athletic based Vinyasa Flow. I enjoy bringing my fitness background into my yoga classes. I encourage students to establish the physical intention of each pose by connecting the breath with proper alignment.

Sharing Yoga with my students has been the most rewarding aspect in my over 20 years of instructing. Realizing that there are many reasons we practice yoga, I am passionate about embracing THEIR journey with each of my students. I fell in LOVE with Yoga the second I tried it. After my very first class, I was hooked. I had been practicing steadily for about 7 years, when I felt the light and realized I needed to spread this love to everyone I possibly can. That is when I began my teacher-training journey through Yogaworks. I have met so many beautiful Yogi souls while exploring my love for yoga. I am always continuing to learn about the beauty of my individual practice, the beauty of sharing my practice with others, different styles of yoga, philosophies, teaching, and simply being. I have been teaching down in the Los Angeles area for a few years, and am excited for my new journey to begin in Vacaville. Sharing my passion for yoga with Yogacorefit is my dream come true.
